"I ordered from Thuma because I thought..."
I ordered from Thuma because I thought it would be a more sustainable choice, but when everything showed up, I didn’t really get that impression. There was a lot more packaging than I expected, and I was hoping for clearer instructions or at least more info about what made it eco-friendly.
The craftsmanship was a bit underwhelming too. A few edges felt rough, and some of the pieces didn’t fit together as cleanly as I thought they would. For the price, I expected the whole experience to feel more polished.

"Looks nice, but literally feels cheap"
It looks good at first, but the wood started chipping really fast and some of the parts literally don’t fit right. Disappointing overall.

I reached out to Thuma twice over email about my order and never heard back. I also tried chat, but that didn’t really help either. It’s frustrating when all you need is a simple answer, and the whole back-and-forth feels unnecessary...

"Not Quite the Finish I Was Expecting"
I ordered from Thuma because the photos made the material and finish look really nice, and to be fair, they definitely know how to make it look beautiful online. In person, though, mine was different. The color looked uneven, and the wood finish felt a lot cheaper than I expected for the price.
Some areas were smooth, but other spots looked dull or rough, which made the whole thing feel a bit inconsistent. Maybe I just got an off one, but it didn’t really match what I thought I was buying. I wanted to love it, but I ended up disappointed.

I ordered from thuma the delivery process was a mess. As someone who likes to stay organized and know what’s coming when, the lack of clear updates was really frustrating. The boxes arrived late, and one of them showed up beat up. I kept having to check on things myself because no one was really communicating what was going on. For how much this costs, I definitely expected a smoother experience

"Nice bed, but not gonna lie, it feels overpriced"
Not gonna lie, the bed is nice and looks good, but I just don’t think it’s worth the price. I expected a bit more for what I paid.

"Nice looking bed, but honestly too plain"
I really wanted to love the Thuma bed because the photos make it look so clean and put together, but once I saw it in person, it just felt a little too plain for my taste. It’s not bad-looking at all, just way more basic than I expected.
The wood and shape are fine, but there isn’t much personality to it. It kind of gives off staged apartment vibes instead of making the room feel warm or cozy. with the way return policies and little loopholes always seem to favor the company, I didn’t feel like taking a chance on keeping something I wasn’t excited about.
For the price, I expected the design to feel a bit more special or elevated. It’s definitely not ugly, but for me it landed more in the “nice enough” category than something I’d recommend if you want a bed with character...

"The squeaking is driving me nuts"
I really wanted to like this bed, but every night it starts squeaking and ends up waking me up. It’s just... not great. I’m already tired enough, and then this noise keeps happening. Frustrating, honestly.

"Shipping is taking forever"
I’m still waiting on my order and the delivery has been really slow. What’s more frustrating is that there hasn’t been any follow-up or update, so I’m just left wondering what’s going on

"Return process needs to be handled better"
The items looked nice, but returning my order was way more frustrating than it needed to be. Emails took days to get answered, the instructions weren’t very clear, and the refund felt like it was just sitting there with no real update. I had to keep chasing them, which shouldn’t be on the customer. If a company makes returns part of the shopping experience, they need to take more responsibility for keeping people informed and processing refunds on time

"The box showed up beat up..."
The box showed up beat up, with ripped sides and crushed corners. Some of the parts inside were dusty too, which was frustrating. For the price, I really expected it to be packed a lot better.

"Looks good, but not super comfy"
I really wanted to love my Thuma bed because it looks really nice in the room. The style is clean and the frame feels sturdy, so no complaints there. But once I actually started sleeping on it, my mattress felt firmer than it used to, and just not as cozy.
It doesn’t squeak, which I appreciate, but the support feels kind of uneven to me, especially for what it costs. Maybe other people have a better setup with it, but for me it’s been meh and I guess that’s it.

"Harder to assemble than I expected"
I thought this would be straightforward based on what other people said, but it really wasn’t for me. Some of the pieces didn’t line up easily, and I had to take parts back apart and redo them more than once. The instructions could definitely be clearer, because I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what was supposed to go where. It ended up taking way longer than I expected, it was more stressful than it was worth

"Started wobbling quickly"
It looked nice when I first got it, but after just regular everyday use, it started feeling kind of shaky. i expected it to hold up a bit better.
